This is a interesting case of subacute intestinal obstruction, where patient presented with abdominal pain associated with nausea and distention. Patient had underwent incisional hernia surgery 2 years back in her village. In her case, the hernia had recurred with a loop of intestines stuck in the muscle /hernia defect leading to pain and other symptoms. A new bigger mesh was placed after the defect was closed this time by Dr Vikram Lotwala. Patient went home symptom free and smiling
